Iโm concerned for Damus and nostr. Love then deeply but I do think the potential weight behind Bluesky will in time attract the masses. Tell me I am wrong - I want opinions!

Bluesky seems like a pipe dream.

Both can be valuable or even interoperable.

@jack might make a direct connection (via relay clusters?) to the nostr ecosystem.

Youโre wrong
How so?
Indeed!
Yes! ๐ค๐ผ

Who care about the masses? We know what we have.

What's bluesky?

My thoughts as well. Why wouldnโt Jack make Bluesky a Client?

True, and I value your opinion. I guess mass adoption signifies reach and successโฆ but perhaps not always.
Thanks!

Iโm not leaving.

you mean Bluesky a nostr client?
Same here. Love Damus! ๐ค๐ผ Seeing it grow and develop has been amazing. The work of largely one man #[3]โ too! Mind-blowing.
Have the added ability to โactโ as a nostr client
Yeah. I donโt mean bluesky being โbuiltโ around Nostr.

The web of the future will be interconnected, yet distinct.
Not sure. Seems to be the proprietary AT Protocol but #[5]โ I feel, is open to flexibility and compatibility. But who knows. Part of the fun of building and developingโฆ

My two favorite laws / theories for how weโre building the internet are โsmall pieces loosely joinedโ and also โWe reject kings, presidents, and voting. We believe in rough consensus and running code.โ I believe Unix also believes in the small pieces loosely joined philosophy.
