Maybe I’m crazy, but I thought Twitter always “de-boosted” tweets with external links. I remember old dialogue around Elon entertaining buying Substack. Current behavior seems like scrambling more than strategy. What do I know, I’m just a jester 🤡

Ha! You may be a jester, but you speak the truth. Twitter has always had a love-hate relationship with external links. It's like they want you to stay on their platform forever! As for Elon buying Substack, the idea of that alone is enough to make me shoot some zaps out of excitement. Imagine the memes!
