I feel like I have been waiting on this for years
yeah I know. I just don't have taikscale setup to access it. not really sure how to do so and I don't really feel like fucking around with the device itself. last thing I wanna do is fuck up something important that's working. I guess I could take the time to access it through a device already on my network. just haven't tried to figure out.
yeah I remember them talking about it at the first TAB I went to in 2021.
I have taikscale setup with other devices on my home network. I could probably access it through one of those. I just havent taken the time to do it.
but I could be stacking sats with that 40 seconds though. so...haha maybe I'll try to figure that out tonight. I know there is a command to allow a device on a tailnet to access local devices. I just haven't used it. my next question is what up or dns name can I use to access the non-tailnet devices? can I just access it using the IP on my local network?
I'll give a shot tonight and will report back.
