Usually when I speak to a TradFi person about bitcoin, the same thing becomes apparent. Most people who who dislike bitcoin haven't held it. They see it as a price chart in their brokerage, like QQQ. They haven't brought the asset into self custody, and then brought it with them as they went around the world. They have the U.S. dollar and don't understand why any other money is needed, and haven't thought about other people much, globally. No wonder they view it as a random correlation.

The main thing that is brought up when I talk to TradFi folk is the deflationary nature of Bitcoin

I get confused with the idea of "it's not backed by anything" I just want to say to the "it is by energy and math!, No trust needed"

Friend said he doesn’t have Bitcoin because “the owner can just print more of it.” Didn’t waste my time replying

💯 No skin in the game. No proof of work. You see it in all walks of life: eg The prescription heavy doctor who doesn’t place enough emphasis on the disease- reversing capabilities of diet and lifestyle. Yet they have never exercised or modified their own diet a day in their life.

I mostly focus my education conversations around 21million. It makes them think and 99% of the people I talk to don’t know that.

As always you only need to take a look at bitcoin for more than 5 minutes to it's potential. Next step is the hands-on experience then you will get que full picture. My personal favorite part about bitcoin is that you can trade with any person on earth. International money is perfect match por international language. Bitcoin + Nostr + English

People have to do the work and understand, what it is, what it can help it with and how to do self custody... Not an easy task

I can dedinetly relate to this. Whenever i talk about bitcoin, most people just dom't care to open their minds and learn about it. Most of the people pretend to tell me "Bitcoin is a scam" withoit even knowing that we are no longer in a Gold Standard economic environment... Most of the people are comfortable in their actual monetary priviledge status and will not give any focus on this subject, but instead they will give a lot of focus to reality shows, sports and similar. Only few in my experience had, at least, listened to bitcoin potential. Noone in my experience had started his journey down the rabbit hole. Maybe i'm just not that good at orange pilling, but surely i'll keep trying

When I talk to TradFi or ”normal person” about bitcoin and benefits, easiest way to get them understand the benefits is to describe situation in Manu african or south american nations and how people there can preserve their wealth. Then people seem to understand and relate it better. People in developed nations dont see the problem or need for it (yet)

I have the exact same experience. They don't see their own financial privilege and yet ironically they're only focusing on themselves.
