Been away from #Nostr for a couple of days because of the tragedy in my family. My mother in law passed away this Thursday. While we knew this was inevitable due to her state, such a thing is not something one can be fully ready for. Me and my wife left our jobs 3.5 years ago when she started feeling worse. My mother in law was bedridden for 3 years and it became my responsibility to provide for the family and my wifeβs to take care of her mother. I was blessed to be able to work remotely and receive donations towards my Bitcoin-only educational projects. This kept us afloat. Itβs been the toughest episode in our lives both financially and psychologically. Yet, thanks to you guys I had a piece of mind. Nostriches turned out to be my tribe who helped me get my mind off all the surrounding hardships and stay positive. My mood expanded towards my wife, who would probably feel much worse if I was hopeless. Support your family, remember that every moment spent with them is priceless. Thereβs nothing youβll regret more than not being there while you could. Thank you all for your never ending support. π
