heads up T-Mobile users on old plans, might have to move to Mint Mobile if they keep this up https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/t-mobile-is-forcibly-moving-those-on-older-plans-to-some-of-its-newer-ones-in-november/ https://image.nostr.build/36b5a7cfb253a4273e5f5114c1385df321ef926aaba074a5de949166f7e53594.jpg

I had a prepaid T-Mobile and they just dropped me completely off. Gave my number to someone else too. The most bizarre thing. I had to update all of my accounts that were associated with that number.

I have T-Mobile and I’ve loved their service (in my area it really is excellent) but this is bizzare. We’re on magenta max, and I’ve given thought to switching to the new Go5g plan, as for us it really only meant more hotspot data. But forced switching with the option to go back is just weird.

Isn’t mint mobile one of the worst carriers for selling your data and that’s why it’s so cheap? I got some much spam after I signed up with them a few years ago and eventually quit.
probably, what’s good and cheap?
👀
Other than getting grandfathered into a plan from 10 years at those rates… idk I pay way too much for my individual plan :(
If you travel internationally a lot, google fi was good.
