SAT 1, 2, 3, and 4 831336 (Gold Circle) 831426 (Silver Circle) 831449 (Golden Triangle) 831485 (Bronze Circle) The character you see in the middle is “sat” in Sanskrit. It is the root of many Sanskrit words / concepts - ie sattva (pure, truthful) and satya (truth). Sat, by itself is taken to mean “absolute truth” “eternity” “that which is unchangeable” “the true essence” “the ultimate reality” based on context. (Also, if I’ve missed any context, please educate me further). I am doing this series completely freehand with metallic paint pens on premium art paper. No shape tracing aids, no drawing in pencil first. It is a fundamentally random process. I do not know what the maze will bring when I start. I make it up entirely as I go and as the maze reveals itself to me. So much of bitcoin art is exacting, carefully measured, targeting precision and perfection (and of course I love all those guys). My intention with these is to pretty much go in the opposition direction. Embracing randomness, wandering, and imperfection (to arrive at “truth”). Because that’s how all our journeys are.
