Anybody know what’s going on with Nostrgram? 🤔 nostr:note1e2y9k8aqff52eedmqkkjytyxa7sa54gg9v873w9d7h5kvxyk5sfsacz0lv

I haven't seen an update to the version in a while. Been using snort lately

I think jleger2023 is busy on other stuff. I've tagged him in notes a couple of times in the hope we can get him back onto nostr and also to keep nostrgram going. Defo reckon his presence is missed.

I was wondering I hadn’t seen him in my feed in a while and he last updated two weeks ago. He was pretty relentless with product updates too so hope he’s ok

Dev probably got bored of it?

Wondering this too. I submitted an issue on the GitHub to see about getting translations into nostrgram. I really like it as a client - it’s like bathing in the firehouse of nostr.
dammit - I meant “firehose”
I had nostrgram as my go to client but it seems to be not responding for a little while. Hope to see nostrgram back in action because for a desktop client it rocked.
Yea I haven’t seen anything for a while. I didn’t use it much but I remember it was a favorite for a lot of people.

When I’ve been using it recently, it often will take upwards of 10-20 seconds and sometimes multiple tries before it will load. I sometimes try a few times but then can get it to work eventually.

Definitely missed. Life happens so hope all is well for him. It was just a sudden shift from 100 to 0 after being very active developing for a couple months.
Yea for a couple months he was on fire.
Good to know, thanks
Hopefully that doesn’t mean complete abandonment of the project but life happens and I remember him talking about not knowing how to fund/support his development of Nostrgram. I didn’t use it much but it was a favorite for many.
Same. Didn’t use it much but some users love it
yea, I DMed him a while ago too but no reply. Get a feeling it might be a case of having to keep the lights on and being a client dev on nostr isn't likely to pay the bills.
I dig it, but Amethyst is my go to for sure.
For sure. A good reminder that the work doesn’t just happen. These amazing technologies don’t just appear out of nowhere. There is a real cost.
It was good. Different architecture. It pulled from relays into a server and then we pulled from it so it felt faster.
