Was just thinking about how nice my new vegetable peeler is while I was washing it. It quickly became a thumb slicer 😭. It's sooooo sharp! It's been a minute since I've had a cooking accident, so I feel like I got off easy. #foodstr

Was more of a psa to be careful with your sharp things, but here it is. Sausage and sweet potato chowder.
I want to get a nice one, I think I should probably get rid of the one I have. The plastic on it is starting to make me nervous and it isn't quite wide enough.
It is probably my favorite right now, a splash of apple cider vinegar when you add the cream 🤌🤌. Sausage, sweet potatoes, onion, garlic, and fennel. A little flour to thicken it and stock or broth of your choice. Super basic, but so comforting.
Oh no!!! Potatoes give me fits sometimes too... especially if I'm too lazy to grab a big enough knife 😑. Glad it was an almost 🫂
