Spend every day, at the old house, pulling out the three things -- out of piles of 100 things -- that we want to take with us to the new apartment. And despairing, of what to do with the other 97 things.
The worst part, is that the new place has a huge basement and an attic, but they're still full of the last people's 97 things, so we can't just move our trash there. Impossible to throw anything away, in Germany. Garbage is forever.
Yes, but they're really picky. Have to pay a lot, to throw the rest away, if you have a lot, but I think we're just going to pay. Tired of dragging a truckload of garbage from one house to the next.

When ever I moved I ordered a big container and threw away loads of stuff. Never regret.
That's what I'm suggesting. The others could also use it. Just dump everything at once.
