my one wish from nostrica is that the major client devs take a couple of minutes to hash out what can be done about the discrepancy between “/your_name”/ and “/name”/ does there need to be a “/mention_name”/ ? #[0]

the end user shouldn’t be expected to check that their meta data for their name renders as expected by all or even the most popular clients. many people, including yourself, have these as the same, so you aren’t surprised when you go to a different client and see what one client assisted you through your bio with abstractions of the metadata is is used entirely differently else where. I don’t believe that there needs to be a third field, simply a meta data tag that would allow clients to double map one of their two fields so other clients can tell, this is what the user declared they want as their handle.
