Tow truck driving (in the US) is probably going to be a great career in the near future.
1. New vehicles are largely dog shit, due in part to EPA fuckery. But also poor quality and design in general. 2. A 2008 style bubble in the automotive industry is cooking. All of this likely means lots of break downs and repossessions. In my opinion.

Repos get taken to the bank by the guy that goes and takes them from the person delinquent on payments. Then the bank pays a different person to transport them to the auction. Usually the auction transport happens by packing a crew cab rollback full of young people. Drive that to the bank. Load up the rollback with however many it can tow then the young people drive the rest. Weird side hustle. Paid cash under the table, which we all promptly spent on booze. Drove some of the nicest and worst cars of my life. More dangerous than you might guess at first because the rollback was usually occupied by non runners. Everything that started and drove got driven no matter the legality or safety.
