The nostr:npub1cc79kn3phxc7c6mn45zynf4gtz0khkz59j4anew7dtj8fv50aqrqlth2hf bot is a great tool to help prune your following list. I'm purging most npubs that haven't posted in 3 months to make way for new Nostriches. 🤙🏻💜🫂

nice cleaning - another Q there is kind high limit when follower or following exceeds a certain number ? i mean following numbers attached to profile >1K or 10K can cause issue on some relays?

Looks like I have to keep on shitposting then 😅🤙🤣
Perhaps. nostr:npub1v0lxxxxutpvrelsksy8cdhgfux9l6a42hsj2qzquu2zk7vc9qnkszrqj49 told me my Nostr experience is slow because I follow a lot of people.

This is great. Thanks for sharing. The number of well known Bitcoiners who seem to have abandoned Nostr makes me sad. 😢
There is no technical limit, but at some point things slow down. I have issues on some clients.
Lots of early adopters that I haven't heard from since the winter too 😩
Thanks correct - also thinking same likewise - hence trimming or cleaning time to time is good also good use separate npub for monitoring bot alerts or rss feeds n not clutter timeline in main npub
When I first joined up nostr wasn’t too easy to use on iOS, maybe that was a bottleneck? It’s much better now
Maybe. I suspect lack of engagement compared to Twitter was a problem too.
Send the bot a DM -help To list all commands
People that checked out Nostr and didn't like it need to check again every couple of months because clients are drastically improving over time. Lack of engagement falls back to proof of work, since we have no algos to do it for you.
I completely agree, I stuck with it but I can see why people didn’t if they were used to polished end products. Everything here is new and growing
This could have also contributed, plus the scope of topics was fairly tight.
PWAs seem to be the true way forward, but apps just feel like such a clean experience once they are established
