the landscape has changed for sure. nostr is a bit into uncharted territory. however, imo it's a safe bet to assume there are some basic tactics to successfully growing and marketing a protocol or social media site, as i am sure there are also things to avoid doing. having awesome tech is not enough, it is essential to communicate the value of the tech (in benefits to the end user) in an easy to understand manner, word of mouth, and welcoming diversity and diverse opinions are all powerful marketing tools for growth
