Bitcoin usage is a chicken-and-egg problem. Most businesses to not accept bitcoin because most other businesses do not accept bitcoin. I don't think any other problem is anywhere near as significant as that one. That's why the efforts like https://einundzwanzig.space/ and https://jednadvacet.org/ are so important. They are getting merchants to accept and communities to spend.

I think the use cases around it being a payment rails to sidestep the complicated problem of sending money internationally is a great reason for people to use it.
