Despite nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 hating it, nostr could be the state of art and proving ground for PWAs.

I have yet to hear an argument against nostr:npub1tltf8es60957eawprkl4ecs2akkpe6n3wgt4tvphj4vef0mqvxasv6ve7g ‘s sideloading approach! Not saying there isn’t one but I have yet to hear it. Seems super promising

And it's not even the censorship resistant property prompting this. It's the financial walled gardens. It's really bullish for both bitcoin and nostr.

apple could choose to break that… although eu is forcing them to officially allow it, they could choose to only ship that regionally, my bet is we will see certificate based installing as soon as the new year to comply with the eu. I don’t like it takes gov regulation to force this. If complying .ipa’s was free (yes you can edit the plist and get to ad hoc, and compile for free) it’s just extra hoops. I’m doing my best to share the changes I made, but I could nefariously add stuff before building. (That’s the main argument against it) My solution is just to keep the damus code running… not a solution to the future of nostr. iOS isn’t the friendly environment for PWAs… specially ones that require nip 07 to login. Shortcuts to open PWAs in safari so they have access to nostore work, but neither that nor sideus are solutions for your average twitter user.

Twitter PWA is the best I’ve used. It can actually be used as an app replacement with little to no compromises. Hope to see nostr clients built similarly!
Lmaoooooooooooo 😂
