Decided I wanted a #DACH version of the Big Mac Index, using something I regularly buy, so I made it up. 😉
When we moved back to Germany, a decade ago, you could get the exact same dönerkebap, at the exact same shop, for €3,50. We have reached The Doubling.

7.2% sandwich CAGR. Not bad! It’s under the 8-12% annual increase in the money supply, probably due to improvements in sandwich-making technology.
They're probably mixing in chicken and reducing the amount of yogurt in the sauce.
