I was thinking it would be cool if sats could be streamed to devs while their open source projects are used. Maybe the customer could choose an amount to stream per minute of use. Open source is a hard thing to monetize, but it’s so important.

A Streamlabs or StreamElements APi to make Lightning donations appear on screen on Livestreams such as Twitch.tv or YouTube with the message sent on the Ln tip note. Just adding a layer on OBS software and no headaches would be awesome. I believe it would need a *bad words* or spam filter before showing on screen ofc. I believe @Zebedee has something similar but not sure a text shows up or filter is implemented.

I'm not sure if it's possible, or possible yet. And if I could code, I'd be trying to build a mobile phone node for lightning. As lightweight as possible, for only a couple channels of lightning and only the last 100 block on chain. The potential network effect would be immense. But maybe it's just fantasy.

the other day I was thinking along the line of ISP ~> WISP (wireless ISP) ~> dISP. basically download a DAO managed nix expression that builds an iso for a sd card that boots a raspberry pi into a PXE server which then configures every server as node in the dISP network. Because if I build this "one button" you are talking about this better not be a bunch of VMs managed by a single megacorp.

They use greenlight, which is hosted. I thought more of a standalone node to use with old smartphones...

Both breez and Phoenix are close to that, but smart phones have aggressive app killers to save the batteries of the user. All mobile phone nodes have a degree of trust. Blixt or mutiny being the most hardcore examples where its really only safe to open channels to an always on computer you have at home. You should read the documentation for these different apps to understand why they made the design decisions they did.
