Is there a way to just not have any bots in my Nostr experience? Thank you for the advice, I got a few paid relays set up which helped me with the spam but I still see mostly bot content. I have not had success on Primal in avoiding bots, there even the bots I block always show back up liking and following me. I don't really understand web of trust? I thought using the paid relays was about getting that?

Every time I get apocalyptic-levels angry I think of that scene and it helps me calm down and have a little giggle π€
I started on default relays but think I got the attention of not so nice folks and started getting flooded with bots and spam until a friend suggested paid relays which mostly fixed the problem
When I don't follow hashtags I don't really see much stuff in line with my interests, so it's disappointing that they're so captured by bots. Current status: no hashtags, no bots, almost exclusively Bitcoin and dev content π€£ it's still better than the Primal trending list tho I guess π€·ββοΈ I need to follow more weirdos
