The CBC's first attempt at a dramatic series was "Space Command" in 1953. It features James Doohan from Star Trek, who spends most of his time reading numbers from various gauges. The sets are ridiculous, and the special effects were purportedly created at the producer's house. The actors seem more bored than the audience. This is the only known surviving episode.
