"investment" is defined in and trapped in the current system. Bitcoin is a singularity in the current system where time and energy that is put past the event horizon becomes undefined from the perspective of the current system while arriving as fundamental particles to build the alternative system. it's a magic trick, not an investment.
you might enjoy watching some of jeff booth's interviews. plenty on youtube. you won't find talk of usd price from him. but to answer your original question more reasonably... yes, i think buying bitcoin now and in the future (and not selling it) is a good financial decision for a very long-term horizon.
