🤔 I’m leaning toward the notedeck_inbox app to be DM-like, but you could *optionally* add a subject to create short term, threaded conversations around a single topic 📥 It seems the DM interface has “won” in most apps, but supporting the latter would enable more use cases: nostr mail. 🔐 This would give us the opportunity to create an end to end encrypted version of email nostr:note1elxl632hygmv448zj6za3xa3ael2d8cdpglpad8nku6yksmahgysexn4aw

The top priority when building nostr mail is that it needs and must have a bridge to SMTP/IMAP when it launches. Maybe slowly it becomes an email contender one day.
I need DMs as well so i wanted to unify them somehow without having to create two separate apps. Even if it was a different view. Maybe they are too different?
Right, but they could be different sections of the app
Would just be weird to have a dm button and a mail button on the toolbar. I think it would make sense if there was just a conversations app where you can have one on one convos in a linear DM view, with another tab for inbox, which is just your typical email inbox with to/cc/etc
What does this have to do with twitter
