Zap might work as an in-joke for some here, and thatโs great, but when normies start coming in here, they need to understand that this is sound money thatโs changing hands, not some game
Taken seriously? Bitcoin breaks the conventional model anyway, what does it even matter at this point? Do we want to show users a fresh new system in which they adapt, or just stick to words like tips, I see absolutely no problem, our smallest unit of account is literally after the name of an anonymous creator.

People will buy sats on their wallet and connect their wallet, the. They can start to play around. But a zap can be a nano transaction. Currently โก๏ธ 50 = $0.01 You can zap someone โก๏ธ 10 and it basically costs you nothing. But if you post a great note and 2,000 people zap it then you might earn $4 from that. Same with videos, maybe you zap a creator to watch their video, it they get 1 million views and itโs โก๏ธ 10 per view thatโs 10 million sats. Itโs allows for an on demand, no ads model. Crucially all the sats just flow through the nostr economy they arenโt created or destroyed.
What happens when content creators discover this protocol/platform where they can earn streaming payments for their work and no centralized middleman takes a cut?
