why do you have to follow yourself on Nostr ? I get the concept of you being your biggest fan and all though I don't think that's it. nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac would you know why ?

I believe its just so your own posts show up in your feed, you dont need to do it. Someone could also create / change an existing client so that you automatically follow yourself...if that were something people wanted. 🤙

I suppose it's a raw solution to integrate your own posts in the timeline, I don't know any client that has this specific preference. At the beginning, profile pages were also nonexistent, so it was a hack to easily find your own content. But I like your biggest fan hypothesis better :)
