I have never used ProxMox. Why is it so popular? Why did you choose to run it in a VM vs a bare metal install?
Since it is pruned, have you had to forgo installing things like a block explorer or electrum server?
Do you think a 2TB HDD (spinning platter) is even worth exploring? I get that the initial block download will be far longer, but it wouldn't necessarily be a perceptibly horrible experience, would it?

Bought. 2. Decided to side by side. Start9 and umbrel. Both 2TB SSD. Both sluckand have no real preference between them

Ha. Thanks. Why did you choose to buy vs build? What would ever compel you to build your own node?
Am not hugely technical and not interested in spending the time learning. Prefer to focus in other areas. I teach a lot of people about bitcoin and had lots of questions to answer so decided to try out the 2 commonly regarded easiest routes to have node
You second question. I would build my own if I wasnt so busy with other things. I just wanted to save some time.
