You don't fight a war at this scale without the involvement of the entire population. A double digit percentage of Russia's entire GDP goes to the invasion, likely in the region of 20% or so. That's not that far from WW2 levels of spending. The entire economy of Russia is a legitimate military target. And people who haven't wanted to be involved in war have had literally over a decade to leave. Millions have. You're just making excuses to protect evil people.
