Yeah I had a conversation with a normie today. He says…I just don’t see why people buy Bitcoin, it’s not backed by anything. I said…”what’s the dollar bill in your pocket backed by?” I go on to explain, ease of transfer, fees to transfer vs fiat, censorship of existing fiat vs bitcoin, etc. conversation ends with , well I’m gonna play with my grandkids and hope to I never have to learn how to use it. “ At least I tried to teach/reach him. He’ll learn one day and remember our conversation.
Should be no more reason at the point he used the word grandkid. Bitcoin is a built in legacy with no effort but securing a seed phrase.
