Races are always humbling. All the time while you’re training, you think you’re the shit. That you’re killing it. And then you show up to the race, and you just another runner. Through the whole race I had this guy ahead of me that made it look effortless and I just couldn’t take him over. He finished a few seconds ahead of me. Stay humble and stack sats.
My current PR for marathon is 8:31 /mi and my goal is to get it down to 8:00 /mi
