What makes TikTok such a desirable app and how could nostr replicate the effect? It's the algorithm! Of course you can't discount its network effect too, but it's that addictive and engaging algo that's the secret sauce. I'd live to see devs experiment with discovery and reinforcing algos. Of course users need the freedom to turn them off or switch, but having this as an option is key to user retention and growth. Are any projects doing this?
