We already have accounts, we already authenticate you with nip98, and you already get it uploaded to your account with good experience. As for special account premium level upload experience, not really possible with the current standards and clients, only if we create our own app and make it happen.

Simply put, they are lending money to you for a fixed amount of time and at a fixed price/interest. The longer they keep their capital locked up by your wallet, the less profitable it is for them. In my humble opinion, them doing it in this way is dumb and shortsighted, since their reputation will fall and new users will not be that excited about their service.
