1. Yes, it does. 2. Not sure what you mean by signer public key. Should just need a bunker string that you can get from Amber. That bunker string will have the public key for the signer contained within it. 3. No, it does not need to be listening for new connections when the connection is set up in Amber first. 4. It only uses the relays you have set up for signing. No other servers.

This is one of the major benefits of Nostr. Notes are all signed, so they are self-authenticating. You KNOW they have not been manipulated, regardless of what relay you found it on. If you lose the feature of every event being signed, you reintroduce the need to trust that the server isn't altering data.

Nevermind, the one that I happened to click on appears to be a recorded previously live stream that is still showing as live. I am seeing the same 0 viewers and nothing that is actually live loading.

I don't think it's so much a specific number as it is whether the tag is actually relevant to the content of the post. If the post is loading up on popular hashtags for visibility for a post that has NOTHING to do with any of the tags, then that's spam IMO. However, if there's even 5+ tags and they are all relevant to the content of the post, though, that's fine. Bonus points if they are just incorporated into the context of the post, rather than a list of tags at the top or bottom.
