I haven't tried all these, but MapleAI sez: To find music without copyright issues, consider the following platforms, each offering unique benefits and types of music: 1. **YouTube Audio Library** - Source: YouTube's library offers free music and sound effects that can be downloaded for use in videos or other projects. 2. **SoundCloud** - Look for tracks under Creative Commons licenses. Many artists allow free use with proper attribution. 3. **Free Music Archive** - Curated by WFMU, it features a wide range of genres, all under Creative Commons licenses. 4. **Jamendo** - Specializes in independent artists offering music under Creative Commons, ideal for COMMERCIAL use. 5. **Wikimedia Commons** - Provides music and sounds free for use, often under public domain or free licenses. 6. **PublicDomain4U** - Focuses on classical music that is in the public domain, perfect for those seeking traditional compositions. 7. **The Internet Archive** - Archives live concerts and public domain music, offering a variety of genres in a community-driven environment. 8. **NoCopyrightSounds (NCS)** - Offers free electronic dance music with proper attribution, popular among content creators. 9. **Incompetech** - Royalty-free music for videos, created by Kevin MacLeod, requiring attribution. 10. **Pixabay** - Known for visuals, also offers free music tracks under Creative Commons Zero. 11. **Bandcamp** - Some artists offer "pay-what-you-want" downloads; check for Creative Commons licenses. 12. **NoiseTrade** - Artists may offer free music in exchange for email sign-ups, useful for discovering new artists. 13. **CC Mixter** - A community for Creative Commons music, ideal for remixing and collaborative projects. 14. **Bensound** - Provides royalty-free music for various uses, with a focus on cinematic and corporate sounds. 15. **HathiTrust Digital Library** - While primarily a book archive, it may include public domain sheet music or recordings. 16. **Library of Congress** - Offers historical recordings, particularly useful for older, public domain music. 17. **Musopen** - Specializes in classical music recordings available for free use. 18. **Vimeo** - Some creators share free music tracks, especially for use in video projects. 19. **Freesound** - Focuses on sound effects but may have musical samples or loops. 20. **Mubito** - Allows direct download of free music, with a variety of genres. 21. **مدرسة** - An Arabic platform offering free Middle Eastern and North African music. Each platform has specific usage rights, often requiring attribution or specific licenses. Always check the licensing terms to ensure compliance with copyright rules.

All about bitcoin, privacy, ... so I was surprised to see you recommend name.com as name registry. They only accept payments in non-private ways (cards etc.; no bitcoin). Maybe namecheap.com is a better option?
Ahh. I had a relic config from the early days AND I didn't remember that big blue 'connected' button was actually a button! Thx. Strange that there was zero info on this from search and AI engines.
Anyone know exactly where to add an nwc connection secret string into nostrudel.ninja? My eyes are hurting! #asknostr

To get back to the original question where exactly, in that process, is a fountain account needed?
in that case, they don't get my private key. so how do they zap for me? I understand they need to split my zaps but still don't see why I need to login for that
Are you suggesting fountain.fm will be providing me with a key pair to allow me to zap? 😄
of course you need to be logged into your nostr client to zap anyone! But I was asking why you need to log into fountain itself. It looks like this is one of those mindless decisions to just track everyone for no real reason.
Having some control over uploads of kiddie porn is more necessary than controlling who zaps a creator, surely? Especially when it can be bypassed by zapping the guy within nostr.
On fountain.fm (in web browser) I can listen to a creator's podcast for hours without login, but if I try to pay him with a zap fountain requires me to create an account and log in. Why? #asknostr
Thanks! I assumed it was Apple only for some reason. downloaded...
Sure. That does sound like the best outcome. Why do you think noone is interested? Maybe the legal issues are different now, but people have done it in (almost?) every other nostr client.
The history determines the environment and therefore the current prob distribution for whatever happens next. When that distribution is sampled at an event, you have zero control over the value of the sample you get. That's pretty relevant. The finiteness of timelines is irrelevant (in fact its doubtful they are infinite, at least in the negative time direction). 100 heads is fine, of course, just unlikely.
But you can't control the probabilities or the outcome at each step. The probability distribution is determined by the history of prior outcomes. I guess that's where parenting can affect an outcome - constructing a child's environment to lead to a desirable distribution. No free will anywhere tho. It's turtles all the way down!
Something needs to change or the best (only?) native desktop nostr client and all your good work will fade away. I'd like to think that the pressure is (now, at least) towards Gossip being able to connect to the bitcoin ecology for the users, not towards you being pro-bitcoin. Is that not an important distinction? Physicists often say that Physics evolves one funeral at a time; perhaps Gossip can only evolve one 'rage quit' at a time!
confusion abounds: that 2i factor is actually 2^i so no division by zero and the sum is limited to 21000000

Is it varying randomly? I had a similar issue with varying albyhub wallet balance which I eventually tracked down to incorrect channel liquidity reporting (even in RTL). Closing the old channels and opening new, different ones fixed the problem.
