If we just pick that one thing out of the whole mess, it's pretty clear that ignoring it is not something a legal team can do. I've had some small experience in that area. Once you're in that system, you're in all the way.
Hey, do it. Fire up StartOS on an old PC and test it out. You point your desktop Bitcoin client at the node and that's it. I don't think it's battery on this one, based on some messaging I had with them. Kind of feels like dealing with the GOS issues is a lower priority compared to android as a whole, which does make sense from an efficiency standpoint. Still early. I've seen a lot of frustrating bugs get chewed up after the devs get time to get to to it. I can wait, because I can't code.
Something changed a while back. It has to do with push notifications and some google thing. GrapheneOS doesn't like it, so I lost my zap ability. It's a shame because it worked so well for everything before that.
