I would recommend, especially if you're splitting hard to split wood. I'm so impressed, I'm going to get their whole line up. I've been eyeballing the 27x axe, it looks awesome.
Makes sense now. I didn't realize that you're in an urban setting. It is definitely spendy to have to hire a tree service.

Got a load of corn, ready to ship. I had heard a lot of hype for these Fiskers splitting malls, it has not disappointed. That thing is a beast, and swinging that 8 lb maul is a real workout, it's almost too much for me, but it blasts right through this knotty wood. I might have to get the 6 lb one also. I'm definitely retiring my old maul.

Elm is much easier to spit within the first 2 weeks after felling, while it's still green. After that it gets to be a real bitch, the dryer it gets. If your home is a target, why haven't you dropped them? I'd burn that white pine in my stove. lol I don't care if it burns and it's, it ships!
