people are so eager to vibe code something. it feels really cool to turn an idea into a something tangible. but i hate the idea of further empowering these companies by needing their infrastructure. they will never build for personal use if they continue to see growth with their current models. fuck these 30B+ models.

after a few days of opening whatsapp and seeing a huge "sync your contacts" prompt at the top, i decided to delete it. i left a message in my active group chats for friends and family to find me on signal. it sucks to possibly lose connections, but im getting tired of trading privacy for convenience. and i hope my leaving will get at least one person to check out signal 🤞
