I am surprised that it is actually nftables and not legacy iptables! I am not sure how openwrt stores nftables config and how it looks, however you should find a `chain {}` block where `hook forward` is written, next lines within this block will specify policies regarding allowed traffic and there should be a rule lile `reject` If it lools similar to what I have described then you need to add rules that will allow traffic to and from wireguard interface as it is currently allowed for your WAN interface (it might be eth0 for you)

I heard that outbox model is related to this issue, however unless your client follows it, you must have many relays to see larger community.

But there is almost nothing stopping these communities to have multiple relays unlike in truly centralized services.

For me it looks more like decentralized proxy stuff. Tor exit nodes abuse is inevitable and their operators are vulnerable to government pressure. Having incentives is good but I doubt it will make running nym exit relays (or whatever it is called) sustainable and worth the risk. However, I think nym incentive can be abused by malicious actors. I mean, hacked devices will be used for running nym. There are already proxy botnets, so this threat is not a theoretical risk IMO.

Yes. As far as I understood, the issue with Amethyst not using inbox/outbox relay model or something like that. But I have seen a post from Amethyst dev saying that they will address this in coming update.

Sounds extremely overcomplicated for this workload if being honest :) What about network equipment you use for CEPH? Also, did you configure RDMA?
