Because they announce on Nostr and quote astronomical numbers, most Nostriches mistakingly think it is money given to projects like nostr:npub1s3ht77dq4zqnya8vjun5jp3p44pr794ru36d0ltxu65chljw8xjqd975wz. Yes, but they weren't always doing so, and they may eventually stop doing so. If they continue to fund work on a project, for more than a year or two, then they're not really a startup fund. They're just a software company with a line of brands, which are competitors to the brands they don't own. Of course, the same people sometimes also own some of the competitors, over other funds. Whole thing is very confusing. Funding spaghetti.
