Yep. A lot of my future traffic will be Americans discussing sex work, esp escorts, because US Relays will become aware of SESTA/FOSTA and ban escorts from writing to their relays. I, and my relay, are outside the USA. What do I ban? Twats. I ban twats. Don't be a twat. :-) I will also bar writing if you post material which is illegal under UK law, but that's basically CSAM and "extreme porn". And, to be fair, that's a fairly narrow ban. Pretty sure 99% of bans will be "idiot".

+1, but still better than China. I'm thinking - there's still surprisingly little lessons being shared from our Chinese friends on how to avoid state censorship and confiscations. Internet, CBDCs, markets, food and goods production, ...

The US maybe be strictest when it comes to piracy, but for censorship I would guess Europe (if we're not including places like China and whatnot). For example: "The U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly ruled that most of what would qualify as hate speech in other western countries is legally protected speech under the First Amendment." "Hate motivated speech is illegal under EU law based on the 2008 Framework Decision on combating certain forms of expressions of racism and xenophobia"

I've got one word for you #[1] , "Wireguard". A well placed #VPS in #Romania, #Seychelles, #Finland, or other non "14 Eyes" Jurisdictions will go a long way towards the preservation of #Privacy and thwarting #dystopian #censorship systems and policies enacted by draconian bodies like, for example, #OfCom in the UK, where they actually out people in prison for thinking out loud - and other countries where the citizenry are already subjugated vassals. And you can also move a #Wireguard server in literally moments, at anytime by a quick update of the A and AAAA RRs in your zone file. I hope that helps! #tallship #FOSS #security #DNS #relay ⛵ .
