I was nerding out in #cornychat the other day talking about camera stuff and meant to post this pic of the Z30 with a 28mm f/2.8 on it. This is a pretty convenient little rig for a lot of photography power. I use this lens on the Z6, also, hence the full-frame. If you grab a dedicated DX lens, it's even smaller. nostr:nprofile1qqs0n3xg5mke4nq8h7gea3nxd3hques58wjrjd0pddg4j4rdtkjnhgspr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzvuq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwwdhx7un59eek7cmfv9kqv55zn9

They have the same mount. That way lenses are interchangeable regardless of which sensor you have. They just use less glass to make the smaller DX image circle to cover the smaller DX sensor.

*not to scale, not even close Big image circle, big sensor. And vice versa. You can use the big circle with the small sensor, though. If you use the small circle with the big sensor, the corners and edges will be dark because there's no light there.
