Headlines that say “Don’t Panic” are pumping a lost cause in my opinion. More than 93% of the bank’s $161 billion in deposits are not insured. I’m sure customers are learning some hard truths right now and the minute withdrawals are allowed the real bank run will happen. Just speculation but it’s human nature to cut and run in that situation. It’s how all the melt downs played out.

SVB is not the only bank that is underwater on bonds. As fear spreads more deposits will be pulled and more banks will fold. The fed is looking at a meltdown
