well, you will anyway want to cut right back when you start getting pain in the extremities. but i think that was from other ingredients in energy drinks and not directly from caffeine. caffeine's main issues are vasoconstriction and dehydration, and affecting your thirst. nicotine also has some of the same with vasoconstriction. every time i feel pain in my lower legs and forearms/hands i become aware that i need to control it. same has happened with alcohol. i have discovered that at a dose of 137.5ml (1/4 of a bottle of vodka) i get a nice buzz but then feel fine to not continue. with caffeine it's about 1 espresso shot a day and with nicotine it's about a pack of 20.
