I think I should have used the word profiteering instead of corruption. Corruption only exists outside of the law, while legally profiteering is perfectly possible. The effect is the same: money earned unethically. Hear Woody Harrleson talk about it (and many other relevant topics) in this great conversation with Joe Rogan (https://youtu.be/ztXzOIH7x10). nostr:nevent1qvzqqqqqqypzq0dhefp236puqj749n5rd2vp3dhfq5hfuw4gt53v9v78zhcjr7t0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yhxummnw3ezucnpdejz7qpqm983vjfrvh3m4vlx8a3ms4tvtdjzat0ejv6kdn47fvx5ksgq3djqq4r4yr

so profiteering is basically a crime that gets a pass then a bit like declaring war or jailing someone for doing business in a monopoly market without paying the protection racket fees or similar, i mean not paying taxes and licenses
