I'm old enough that my teachers told me not to use a calculator during math class. Now people not only use calculators, they are hitting a LLM for every response they write on social media. I can multiply any two numbers between 0 and ~10,000 in my head. These guys are going to have a hard time saying ANYTHING online or irl without internet access. Like calculators, but for critical thinking and information processing. Used in this way, its a tool that robs the user of the ability to absorb information and discern important points. It will not end well for them. cc nostr:npub129puxu7lrd2g5a7hnmr57fe9t5ffk62m2gklkkl5xjvt5j6srhuswhhud3 nostr:nevent1qqswesy8asqdvzhskxcypjeq0ek65f46249dx3tq8r5gvgcny6ceq7qzyps09mkecpypg92x8ktenysf7cwhg22h9s2a39cuxx4csynfvtys7qcyqqqqqqgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxg0h6vat

Yeah, yeah, is that the best you got, Mr. Critical Thinking Skills? If one substantiates his views with citations, people online start saying it's LLM. Goes on to show how things are these days where opinions are thrown around as facts with no evidence whatsoever. Leave your assumptions to yourself and fuck off, you bitter little person. "Deflation kills growth and prosperity; fiat and inflation made your iPhone possible" kind of Mr. Critical Thinking Skills. Absolutely futile to argue with intellectually dishonest folks like yourself. So please do me a favor and do not cc me in your shitty discourses.
I didn't say any of that. So much for your ability to cite sources without AI.
> These guys are going to have a hard time saying ANYTHING online or irl without internet access. Talking about critical thinking skills but lacks the same skills to acknowledge: one can't say anything online without Internet access. 😂 nostr:nevent1qqsv89qc2ymcjs6jfea3cvh6rczelcehknhlzt0r56t8tz2d7j0xjygpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtczyruct5cfr97gqhshr8rnrpd4wn7raeq86lqmv9taa6vudt8ztxdmkqcyqqqqqqgfrzqx0

You're useless.
obviously my statements do not match with what you attributed to me.
> Not only is fiat money responsible for endless wars and destruction, but it's also responsible for the internet and smartphones and countless other modern conveniences. What is this then? Fiat money responsible for the Internet and smartphones? I used an iPhone in my post, sorry. The causal relationship is intact.
> but point out that deflation conditions (ie a fixed amount of monetary units and growing economy) disincentivize spending and investment What does this mean if not growth and prosperity? Stop clinging on to semantics and accept your chain of thought is flawed and try to learn something, Mr. Critical Thinking Skills.

I've had LLMs make shit up, including math, many times during my undergrad work. I used them as research assistants and never trusted them for anything serious. Mostly just for finding references and checking my work or whatever. People are out there making decisions based on what could be made up information. The Meta one admitted to me that it's trained to provide information that sounds plausible if it can't find information. Reassuring as fuck.
they just repeat what they were told. I'm not against reasonable LLM usage but its a crutch for these people.
