Why it is important to optimize your media for your target audience. It is not only so people can get it loaded quickly, but the host doesn’t bankrupt themselves. The cheapest per GB paid CDN that I am aware of charges 0.5 cents (half a cent) per gigabyte. My PFP that was downloaded about 1M times in the past 6 months alone, racked up 27.63 GB and it is only 65.7KB. Yes, free iMovie that comes with each iPhone already. iOS has very good built in libraries and API, but none of the clients bother to utilize them

Oh, almost forgot, people should stick with h264 so all clients can play it. Apple has some idiocy with it, and require a stupid tag to be playable on any Apple device 😭
