I started out with a 15 pound mace but I quickly realized that it was too heavy for a beginner. Then I moved to a 10 pound mace. For a couple of months, I used it every day. At this time, I was aware of Mark Wildman and his club work but I thought it was gay. Eventually I capitulated and got a heavy club anyway, and since then I’ve been training with a heavy club. Fiat has even ruined physical training. And In my opinion, heavy club training isn’t just the apex of working out it’s culturally superior too. #workout #fitness nostr:note1cwznqjq8wv6rlc0x8n5aaq527d3p3qlmuldclqkzglvzgz77uulsf8dkrz

Is there some good beginner techniques you would recommend?
Yes! I really recommend Mark Wildman. He might be the only person in America who teaches this, and almost all of his training is free https://youtu.be/TSjIEfyJGKY

Do you recommend a steel mace? Or a club to start with?

I love the club, but I think a mace might be better to start with. Since the lever is longer, it forces your body to go through the full range of motion during a shield cast. And you can still do club movements by just grabbing the mace halfway. But in my opinion the heavy club is the best
Thanks again, there a 10lb steel mace on sale for Prime Day.
