Yeah, we decided to pull Alexandria forward and wait to see what Dan built, and then see what we can reuse.
We will definitely be supporting the same events, but we're going way out, in the other direction, feature-wise, I think. We're hands-off on gitservers. No point building the exact same thing. People need options. Kick off is in January, tho. Need to get Alex out, first. 30040s will feature in GitRepublic, in a different capacity, so they're not really two completely separate projects.
I love the thought that we can have two very different feature sets, and still be compatible, by sharing events. Sort of crazy. Like an API.
Cool. No stress, we're chill with the version we have. Just good to have a web-viewer, as we're going desktop-first.
We're using Jira heavily and are moving to a self-hosted gitserver. We sometimes have 3-5 people on one repo, and we kept getting the patching tangled, somehow, with ngit. We use Wikistr quite heavily, for documentation. But GitHub will remain a mirror. Have to, with all of the Nostr devs all over GitHub. It's a marketing thing. π€·π»ββοΈ Gotta have some π©π©π©π©
Yes, we'll be coming back to it, in the new year.
