schön alt, fast 300 Jahre ohne Zentralheizung. Vor dem Schlafengehen lege ich das Kopfkissen auf den Kachelofen und ins Bett eine Wärmflasche. Sonst erfrier ich. Aber ich bild mir ein, dass ich gesundheitlich noch von diesen kalten Schlaftemperaturen in meiner Kindheit zehre, weil: Ich bin echt nie krank.

The same thing happened to me this year. One of my accounts was frozen three times. If I had been dependent on this account, it could have caused serious problems. I am forewarned. Governments want to control everything down to the last cent meanwhile millions disappear into corrupt channels without anyone being held accountable. It's infuriating.

I get an uncanny rage when I see such fundraisers. Not, of course, towards the wonderfully brave Tina and her desperate mother. A rage towards the state that leaves these people alone. A rage towards all those people who, without batting an eye, squander billions in tax money on weapons and surveillance systems, a rage that such hardship cases increasingly depend on the goodwill of the general public. Any system that does not save its children is doomed to perish. It lacks the moral and structural integrity to survive in the long term. Are you planning to buy a coffee tomorrow? Or a sandwich? May I ask you not to do so and to donate instead? I promise you: You will not starve or go thirsty, but it could save Tina‘s life.
