Is that really what's in my pocket though, or is it mostly access to titties and gotcha mobile games? The tools can only save individuals who use them in a positive, productive manner. But tools are far easier to use for destruction because that doesnt require any training or discipline. This is true with the phones, and it's true with the "fixed money". Few will "get it".

Optiplex has been very reliable for me. I don't disagree about the bloat, it certainly is annoying. But to imply plebs can't run a node or will soon be unable to with 4TB hard drives is just not something I've seen evidence of yet. You can also run pruned on an SSD as small as 256MB without issue.

3 full Lightning nodes, 0 Raspberry Pis, 0 hard drives over 2TB, very reliable, not difficult to build or manage. https://image.nostr.build/f5305fdc4ed95e563e59bc7fa581e073aca24299c439f5bada12f4737dd024f2.jpg The Pi path just has too many bottlenecks, but even an older refurbished PC under 100 bucks can do just fine.
