I really do love how you think through a userβs way or using it and ease into the designs - the little things like the columns under settings, the donation thatβs easy to see but humble, the size and spacing etc - what went from just ok abt a mth back, is now standing out and I absolutely love it ππ«

Would be nice to be able to set tae default zap amount?
Yeah I proposed this. Not sure of the status though.
It shows 0 right?

Remove them. Put them on a separate app.
Why donβt it feel that way? Just want a dm-only client?
Do you * dang autocorrect

Any possible way of improving nostr dm forward secrecy and/or way of encrypting who you are talking to?
1e9d8 - 2y
I agree! We could make more lightweight clients! Less data, more speed. Less features, the more developed they are. Less features, less bugs. Less features, easier to maintain. E.g: If you have a nostr messenger, you can add encrypted group messages to it as well later. Concentrate on only dm use cases. I like the idea #[3] if you meant this.

IMHO, the current NIP-04 DM stuff should be killed with fire. The less integrated it is with other functionality, the better.

The power of micro apps, nostr should be presented as this paradigm shift #[0]

I'm a bit late to this note, but some ideas for snort DMs π‘ I'd look into splitting the DM screen into the following tabs; Inbox, Requests and Archived. Inbox - DMs from anyone the user follows. Requests - DMs from anyone the user does not follow. Archive - User archived DMs. I would also investigate a way to have DMing a user who you do not follow require a zap of some sort. The zap requirement for receiving DMs from non-followed users should be able to be set by the user. As for the interface, something like this comes to mind: https://i.nostrimg.com/f7c554678eb26937d860d7d55b8831eeccd2ce7f487baab7ac35e0b44cc3c4d1/file.png CC: #[2]
Not late at all! You always have good ideas!

Micro app is the Nostr way. #[0]

Lol, I just wrote an Issue about it, though (probably due to lack of knowledge) I was less strident π https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/issues/270
My biggest gripe with NIP-04 is that all DM metadata is public, including sender and recipient: #[5]
