Is it possible for rooms to be completely private? Say some kids wanted to use it for chatting about a school project, but the parents don't want any outsiders listening in. I just want to make sure before I suggest it to them. None of them are Nostr users currently.
Yeah, that and pw protected. I see the password option, but I want to make sure that's also keeping out listeners, and not just participants.
Perfect, thanks! Maybe we'll get some purple pilling going.
One more question...how do we get multiple people talking at once? Two on stage at once kills everyone's audio.
Just now, two PCs and a phone, all different networks/IPs. Private room with password. No Nostr logins. All on stage can only transmit to the audience, not each other. On each device, its own icon lights up, but not the icon for another stage user. Selecting all on stage in room setup just means nobody can hear anything. For a user in the audience, they receive everyone on stage, as expected.
Just tried again on two phones and can't hear each other. I have to be doing some #tardstr thing.

This also was sometimes a problem for Nests The Jam architecture means that everyone on stage connects to each other P2P
Hmmmm using Brave and Mullvad browser. Brave on mobile, also. I'll try messing with the settings and try it again. Figured there had to be something I was doing wrong. Those all have webrtc off by default, I believe. Thanks for the info!
Oh I have had issues with Brave.
Okay I got it now. Had to change webrtc and it started working. Got it to work on Brave mobile and PC.
